Dear Resident(s):

The Association would like to provide an update to the community regarding the reopening of the amenities. Current research as quoted by the Florida DOH has concluded that there is no evidence that COVID-19 be spread to humans through the use of properly maintained pools. Therefore, with the guidelines to follow, your Board of Directors has made the decision to open the pool to residents for exercise only beginning Monday, May 18th at noon. Certain restrictions will apply to everyone who wishes to use these facilities:

  • The pool/pool area is limited to no more than 10 homeowners at a time.
  • No gatherings are permitted and the BBQ area will remain closed for the time being.
  • Social distancing will continue within the pool area. Avoid congregating and maintain the 6 ft of distance from other individuals.
  • All pool lounging chairs and tables will be secured to avoid any cross-contamination. Homeowners may bring their personal chairs with them.
  • Any resident using these facilities does so at their own risk and should follow CDC guidelines and applicable Federal, State or local order related to COVID-19.
  • Homeowners are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes to wipe down the gate, handrails and when using the restroom.

The pool hours will be modified as follows until further notice:

  • Monday – Noon to dusk (except Monday, May 25 when it will open at dawn for Memorial Day
  • Tuesday – Dawn to dusk (except Tuesday, May 26 when it will open at 11:00 a.m.)
  • Wednesday – Dawn to dusk
  • Thursday – Dawn to dusk
  • Friday – 11:00 a.m. to dusk
  • Saturday & Sunday – Dawn to dusk

Please note since Monday, May 25, 2020 is a holiday, the pool will not be cleaned until Tuesday, May 26 when the maintenance personnel returns from the holiday weekend. For this reason, the pool will open at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26.

The Association does not warrant that any common areas or facilities are free from any virus, communicable disease, or otherwise, and the Association undertakes no duty to provide for the prevention of any such health hazards. Any person using these facilities does so at their own risk and should follow CDC guidelines and applicable Federal, State, or local order related to COVID-19.

The community has remained healthy during this mandate because of the diligence of the residents to follow safe practices. Please be safe, follow the guidelines and do not jeopardize the health of your neighbors.
